If I could ever rewrite our story

If I could ever rewrite our story
 I would start it from the beginning
 making sure that I would never
 miss those missed chances of loving you.
 To make you realize how much
 you mean to me and make you
 feel the worth of yourself.

 If I could ever rewrite our story
 I would double the intensities
 of the feel of those nights spent together
 and stay in their hangovers for a longer time.
 I would make your heart skip those beats
 and make you feel the way I feel.

If I could ever rewrite our story
 I would slow the time spent
 and make your stay a little long
 so that I can make you trace me more.
 I wish to live those moments twice
 and make myself believe that this is all true.

If I could ever rewrite our story
 I would never let you stay
 so far away from me
 I would be around you every time.
 And there would be no goodbyes and no lies
 to tell others for letting us together.

If I could ever rewrite our story
 I would erase all your moments of struggle
 and will ease your days and will
 make you feel out of this world.
 I would cut those parts where your voice turned,
 and your heart made some faster steps.
 

But then I think if I could ever rewrite our story,
 might be I would have something
 not the same
 maybe better or maybe worse than this.
 I might not have got you then.
Anything different from what I did,
might have made us apart. 


I would rather embrace those missed chances,
 those running times, those unheard words of increasing intensities.
 I would love those goodbyes and our unharmed lies.
 All those moments of struggles because in them,
we managed to face together.
 So if I could ever rewrite our story.
I would live it twice with you.

My First 'Love at first sight'

My first ‘love at first sight’ maybe it’s the only one but I never had thought myself to experience something like this. Always being a girl who reads a lot of novels but never trusted on those cliché love stories thinking “asa thori hota hai, sab fairy tale hai” until this happened to me. It made me realize the logic in those novels which I was afraid of reading just because of their cheesy love stories. I was way too practical and everything just washed away.
